Cobo claimed victory in the Open category, while Jimenez won in the Dropknee modality in the championship that took place in Gáldar, in the island of Gran Canaria.
A total of 70 participants gathered in the Spanish Bodyboarding Championship held on the 27 and 28 of November in the beach of El Agujero.
The beach of El Agujero, setting of the final rounds of the Open and Dropknee categories, showed itself at its best on Sunday, with perfect 4 meter waves.
Young Guillermo Cobo became the Spanish Bodyboarding Champion for the second consecutive year after a hard-fought final, where one of his two best waves scored 10 points, after performing an impressive, deep tube and a perfect ARS, and ending his performance with a Rollo.
Ardiel Jiménez, also from Gran Canaria, became the Spanish champion in the Dropknee modality.
The level of the competition was really high, and the contestants, who came from Galicia, Cádiz, Basque Country, Asturias and the Canary Islands, delighted the audience with extreme manoeuvres and impressive tubes.
