This Wednesday, the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy match race section ended in Dubai waters. After completing a Round Robin, the local boat Sea Dubai, steered by Markus Wiesser from Germany, claimed victory. Islas Canarias Puerto Calero, with José María Ponce as helmsman, started this last day with options to end on the podium, but it finally finished sixth. (more…)

The Royal Spanish Sailing Federation awards the yacht racer of the year trophy to the Canarian Princesa Yaiza team
The Princesa Yaiza crew celebrates the gold in the J80 World Championship.
The J80 World Championship gold medallist Princesa Yaiza team, from the Canary Islands, led by Rayco Tabares and sponsored by the Canary Islands Government Tourist Department, will be awarded the yacht racer of the year trophy this Friday during the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation Gala. (more…)
