Canarian people are know for their friendliness. In fact, they coexist with more than ten millions visitors every year and the islands have a long tradition as a tourist destination. The institutions of the Canary Islands are responsible formeeting tourist needs and resolving their problems. Consequently, there are tourist offices spread all over the archipelago. Apart from these resources, tourists can get information at the islands’ Tourism Councils and at the offices of the Autonomous Government.
